The statement

Events are usually held by small crews, attendees usually range from thirty, fifty to some hundreds at best, half of them are regulars, more than half of the regulars are themselves in one way or another part of some constellation. Basically we're one big clan visiting each other cross-regionally on a highly sporadic basis.

Over the past few years I've thrown and attended parties together with fellow mates from the guerilla out here in the wastes of southern scandinavia. We pick a location suitable for a moshpit, mount a soundsystem capable of cracking marble, and play our music exessively loud as we laugh and dance until the sun dawns.

The interest for these experiences is apparently growing, new people have been getting involved, which means new constellations are spawning and of course, the continuous intruduction of new sounds, new interpretations of dance and all that comes with it. This togetherness is way better than solitude.

DJ Solomon

Or just Solomon, that's me. I manage this site which is about me and my mates, our habits and our vision.

I play wicked hardcore techno and slow, pounding Doomcore
whenever I feel cold and lonely, Industrial Darkcore whenever I'm in need of some exitement, but I dare not pour the pure and distilled catacomb insanity of french Gabba onto the turntables unless I'm mentally prepared for all hell to break loose.

This selection of music well enough covers the demand for an inspiring experience in the moshpit.

I merely perform during the moment when the tracks are merged together, and the goal with each performance is not to gain recognition for myself, but rather to
shine a light on the great talents behind all the cool music I've had the pleasure to explore.

As many other DJ's today are driven by vanity, I feel great discomfort in claiming any credit, and I reject all kinds of MC'ing, because the show really is'nt mine.

In my point of view anyone attending to my sessions should be able to experience an intense soundscape where they can find and channel their energy into groovy earth punk moves without being interrupted by random bullshit, instead of a brutal kickdrum, sinister melodies and wicked hoovers all round.

Perhaps some in-tune intermezzo has to be accepted for the sake of variation and pattern localization, but that's as far as I am willing to stretch. So here is my hint: if you have a mic plugged into the mixer you're a tosser!

Most of the records I've been spinning lately origin from the following distributers and labels.Make shure to take some time and pay them a visit.

The hard store

Phuture rave recordings

Crossbones

Hellfire records

Striking wave

Dreadcore

Our resident electritian.  I would walk through hell and swim across an ocean just to get this guy his vodka. He knows his way around a fusebox like noone else, if there is no power to direct he can channel the suns and bring the black dawn by merely thinking it.

Eyebleed

Resident photographer, obsessed with computers and anything techish. When let loose behind turntables there's no escaping his asylum obtained skills at merging industrial noise with dark ambient.

It's time for yet another roadtrip, the Bassline express collective needs to be taught a lesson in rythm management, and this time we're gonna settle the score and break even! It's all going down on a venue providing two dancefloors and together with some of Gothenburgs finest of hardcore techno harbringers we will deliver a night out worth remembering. This time I'm bringing out the odd jobs often thrown in as filler on various releases, devestating the dancefloor with an offbeat hardcore fukkup! So come groove and move with us!

It's official - Shocks is respawning, and has engaged in a joint venture together with Bassline express. What's coming up is an event August 21 in Gothenburg featuring the first choise of music from both collectives. Hardcore techno meets dubstep, noise meets drum and bass. You'll find more info soon at http://www.shocks.se and http://www.bassline-express.com/  The BST Sound system will attend, mosh and support.

Will you?

Furthermore you'll wanna check out http://tmc.xht.se/ Consider paying a visit to Stockholm and go see a few of europes finest hardcore techno artists doing their thing on the other side of 180 bpm. I might even try reaching that tempo myself, this time I've been asked to leave my doomsday device in the bunker and instead bring some heavy artillery to match the competition from these heavywheights. Funny story about this lineup is these names would raise a lot of heads, yet in order to avoid spoiling the suprise, half the lineup is kept secret and the flyer is in Japaneese.

Troll's birtday bash is held September 12, and I'm game.

Assimilation complete.

After reading the heaps of beautifully articulated fanmail we recieved regarding some of the issues with the previous webpage (omg you people frequented that shitpile!) I decided to use the humble approach. So I had a sitdown with some friends the other day and we started hating ilosoft webcreator, it only operates in internet explorer, (both of them were held entirely responsible for all flaws, we are not men.) I did some research on the matter at hand and discovered a way to forge this website with the involvement of fun. A small victory on my part, really, because it makes up for all the turds I've had to endure wiping up after all you whineing twats in my inbox. Here you go, enjoy printing your toilet wipes with it, stay tuned and shut the hell up.

Fucking hardcore, Stockholm:

20090502

We got an invite to a gathering which broke the efficiency record on the heads up to visitors ratio, being thrown not six weeks after announcement. I mean... We've thrown parties with six months heads up, and never gotten close to this stream of attendees, then again this was Stockholm after HJKIII and there has litteraly been a renaissance going on over there lately, it would appear as though the kids and the candy ravers are really coming back with this generation.

Not only kids were looking for a good time, there were some of the old wolves out howling, great to hang around my old mates and binge away. For all of you who left early I can only hope the night had great things to offer, but I doubt there was anything as good as this. You were a loss. Great weekend though, roadtrip toghether with fellow mates and for once I got a pass on the driving... We lodged at Odenplan and managed to stay out of trouble in the projects. The party was all booze and moshpit for my part, then at five in the morning, while pissed like never before I got to lay down an intensely sinister doomcore session. Lots of PCP style tunes from Crossbones and Hellfire, too bad we're still waiting for FE18, SNAFU would have merged well together with some of my french rekkerds... With me the entire time I had Eyebleed and his gear, he snapped hundreds of awesome pictures, and as usual they can be found at http://foto.eyebleed.se/

Macabre Secrets III, Gothenburg

20090418:

This was a typical roadtrip-without-lodging kind of adventure, they're easy to plan even though you're a tired wreck afterwards. Anyhow, we spent an afternoon cruising along the west coast, picking up misanthropes and brothers in arms, preparing for a violent night amogst volatile interpretations of fun. While arriving almost two hours earlyer than planned, we soon realized the Sound system had trouble getting all of the speakers through the venue doors and thereby leaving us with very little to work with, we managed to initiate soundcheck at 9 PM, kicking off with imedeate crowd responce. Together with Misantrop we shot off some heavy artillery, lots of tunes from DNA, Enzyme and Genosha Recordings...

You really ought to check out his music on myspace, loads of great tunes coming from this runnerup! http://www.myspace.com/misantropcore

An hour later he got relieved of his duty by DJ Icepick, together with whom I finally got to try out the much longed for kollaboration in turntablism I put out a row or two about earlier. We went way back in the Fifth era catalogue, dusted off some classics and at the end we threw in some of the french stuff. Check the video on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/ravepartydotse Great crowd, great sound, this was definitely the darkest pit in Sweden at the time. I had a really good time, and even got myself a sweet deal on some fresh vinyls later on that night. Bargain basement be damned!
